Did a quick search and didn't see this anywhere. My apologies if there already is one.

Stoops has been winning, but tressel just took over the top spot. Not sure if this actually counts as a vote or anything, but...

Why exactly should Tressel get it? He took a talent-laden team with key seniors and beat 2 teams of note in an otherwise easy schedule. That was tough.

If the criteria was "which coach had to work the heardest for his team's success" it would be Stoops hands down. Unfortunately I think the award is more of a popularity contest like the Heisman. Based on that Tressell will likely be the winner.

Recently I think it has been exactly like the Heisman. The coach of the #1 team. Snore.
