Hey guys,

I need a bit of help getting some airfare to the bowl game. I am wanting to fly out the 27-30th sometime and I HAVE to come back on the 2nd. I do not care if I fly directly into Phoenix or somewhere nearby as far as Las Vegas and then rent a car and drive in.

If I am flying directly into phoenix, I will travel to OKC, Tulsa, Wichita, Dallas, or even Kansas City for cheaper airfare.

If I have to fly into somewhere close like Las Vegas and Drive in, I would prefer to not drive to Dallas but any of the other airports will work mentioned above.

I am from Wichita so that by far would be my favorite spot to fly out of but sometimes traveling is worth the savings.

The cheapest I have found airfare is 330$

Please help a sooner get to the game without driving 17 hours one way!!!
I need 2 tickets, one for me and the fiancee!

Personally, I'd hop all over that $330 airfare. I just paid $1200 for mine.

I fly to Phoenix a lot, immediately after the bowl announcements the tickets got extra tight and expensive...normally I can fly direct from OKC to Phoenix for about $250 round trip max.....

I called SWA and they have absolutely NOTHING coming back on the 2nd of January. I might be out of luck and filling up the car with gas!

I booked a flight for my brother from OKC-PHX on Jan 1. and returning Jan. 2. I had to book the return though Phoenix to Houston and then an extra ticket from Houston to OKC. It is only $70 more to do it that way, and pretty much your only option on Southwest for the 2nd. I think the total was like $500 or so though.

naw, I just wanted to be a braggart. I want to go to the game, but since 1/2 the expats will be gone already, I have to fly out on the morning of the 1st for Korea

The drive back to Vegas after the game would pretty much suck but unless you want to pay $500.00 plus for airfare alone this looks like your best bet. You could also try a local travel agent and see if there are any Vegas charter flights that fit your schedule. Hope this helps!

Just doin' my part, man.

Well, that and I've got way too much time on my hands. Unemployment actually does have its benefits, few though they may be.
