Who do we hire now that Stoops is leaving for Bama?

Now I know what you are saying....that isn't set in stone Gandalf!!! But let's face it, the rumors have to be true because

A) The obvious smoke screen of talking to Rich Rodriguez
B) A Volunteer fan in Arizona heard on a Bama board that maybe Stoops was coming to Bama
C) Pete Carrol is going to Arizona so that means Stoops would want to go Pro too, and Alabama has always had some the highest paid athletes in the country
D) Odds Makers attempting to lure Stoops to Bama by making Bama dogs against Puke St.
E) Fiesta Bowl Tickets are for sale at the ticket office..an obvious ploy to buy our happiness
F) Nebraska fans are nice....er Assaultive and Stoops is probably fearing for his safety at OU
G) Stoops not wearing a visor...its symbol of change...as in change of head coach
H) Stoops may be bitter that people will always wonder if these teams would have been better with Merv Johnson at the helm!
I) At Alabama he would be playing power teams from power conferences...Like Bama is playing a Big 12 team in its bowl game...OU is playing a WAC team.
J)His Embarrassment over the Dominican 2003 National Championship Controversy.

I Think we should go after Leach or Kragthorpe...maybe go talk to Sutton at Oral Roberts

First of all Blake isn't going to take a step backwards, he is an assistant at the second greatest college football juggernaut... we are playing a WAC team in our bowl game, We just don't have the clout to pull that big of an assistant!

No, No, Nooo, You don't have to go that far. I mean digging is dirty and all. Instead we just get a fathead of Stoops and just place it along the sidelines. Bob can coach at two places at once, right?!?

Well shoot!

Maybe Joe Dickinson is still available. He's probably at the top of the assistant list. Since we can't get Blake back.

That's ridiculous, no ones gonna buy that. And Ok maybe the visor thingy is a little over the top. It would have to be the plaid fedora.;)

You forgot, Alabama has beaches.

I say, we let Sherri Coale coach the football team. She can stand on the sidelines with one of those skirts with a slit down the side. The other team will be too distracted. Touchdown every play.

the king, osbourne, and holtz have a 3-way ladder match inside a cage to see who takes over. osbourne breaks his neck trying to climb the ladder when he slips on holtz spit from when he said," im gonna kickth yourth asthes", then the king just looks at holtz and he goes into a seizure. the king then talks ad into staying as the new wishbone qb, and all is fine in sooner land.

Hey! I found a sane Bama fan on Tidefans!

I have to agree. Stoops is just too well situated where he is. There is maybe one or two good reasons why he'd want to come to Alabama, but there are many more good reasons for staying where he is. He's happy at OU and he's doing a good job there. I'd rather find the next Bob Stoops.

Either that, or hire some mercenary genetic engineers to clone the original.
