My 6 yo son says, "oh no, I forgot to ask Santa for something yesterday"(he sat in da lap yesterday at Quail Springs)
Me: "What did you forget to ask for"
Chirojr: "An Oklahoma Sooners Jersey!" at this point he starts welling up
Me: "Calm down, I'll make sure Santa hears this request!":D
Chirojr: "Really, thanks Dad, cuz I really need to have one to show my friends who the best football team in the world is"

Yea yea... I learned that one about that age, too.

Tell Daddy what he wants to hear, and you get lots of cool stuff. Works ages 6 and up. :D

This is a chick thing and I am convinced it isn't just Daddy, it's all men. I am also convinced that it gets worse as the chick gets older.;)
