I disagree and would hate to see Mike leave the Big XII. His teams are fun to watch, hard to beat and he is a coaching genius. Texas Tech will have a heck of a time replacing him and I hate to see the Big XII lose any more status as a conference.

The North teams need to improve and the Big XII needs to hold onto coaches/teams with consistent winning records and a solid fan base if we are ever going to regain our position as the toughest conference in the country. JMHO

We'd still see him in 2007 and 2009, with better overall talent. His defense should improve at least a little by that fact alone, much less if he gets a good DC to go with the talent. Could be scary.

Art Briles offense scares me more than Leach's. Did anyone see U of H play this year??? I still havent figured that crap out yet. But hey, they are 10-3. I heard a rumor he could go to Texas if Davis leaves. I hope not.

I would consider that a slightly uphill lateral step. Art will continue to build UH and then bail for a school that can draw recruits.

They've had a winning record every year in the Big XII, I believe (only school that can say that). They'll be fine.
