Went down at 6:35

Only service affected was student mail on the POP mail servers.

Both on-campus and off-campus users are not able to login to mail.ou.edu to check their email.

We have technicians working to restore service.

I sent a rough draft of an assignment to a friend and she's supposed to email comments back to me..... i'm just hoping i get it in time to revise my draft with her comments before the dang thing's due tomorrow.

aren't they moving all the students to exchange 2007 soon? I saw a demo of the web part of that and it was real spiffy.

I remember them being hosed for a good two or three weeks one summer. Had to start routing emails to public email addresses. I thought most of the students were supposed to be moved to exchange mail by now? Where are we on this, Mom?

Yeah, it also affects the OU Symphony's e-mail account. Which means I have to postpone putting together the programs for our concert next week since I can't get to any of the e-mails telling me if people's names are spelled wrong. :D
