The message boards are in the "Holy Crap They're Delusional" thread. They are nice people I met a couple that came to the UGA game last year. After UGA handed them their *** they were a little less cordial, but that is to be expected. One bought me a beer that night, and said that UGA played great.

Just wondering when you say - "most loyal" - what that means to you - since it is coming from a Boise State fan, and not coming from an outside source.

You really have to have some ups & downs for me to consider you LOYAL.

See, I wouldn't consider anyone who is a Arizona Diamondbacks fan - loyal. You haven't been around long enough to know what loyalty is.

Considering that we were winning our 4th MNational Championship the same year you actually became a University (1974) - I wonder how many DOWNS you've actually experienced. It has taken you a while to get off the ground, but for the most part - from my perspective, your program is still growing, and moving up. Congratulations on that by the way.

Loyalty comes into play when you have been to the top of the mountain, and then get your nuts kicked in on national television. Loyalty comes when you are used to playing for national titles, and you you lose to Iowa State at home. Loyalty is football life during Smellsofbourbon & Boo Blake.

To my knowledge, you know none of these things.

Welcome to the board - welcome to the big stage in college football. You have everything to gain, and nothing to lose - that goes for you. Us? If we win - we were "supposed" to beat a football program from the WAC - we're supposed to win. If we lose - we'll be crucified by the media, peers, and our conference. Keep those things in mind while watching this game.

Um loyalty is sticking with a program regardless of overall record or number of titles of any kind.

This is what Boise State needs. Georgia whipped our butts last year, but we bounced back to win 12 in a row.

I respect the Oklahoma tradition like you wouldn't believe, but to consider a fan of some other program to not be as loyal as you isn't very fair.

Cubs fans have what they call "blind loyalty". I think you might have to sign your grandchildren up.

By the way - that brings up a great point. Why in the world would anyone subject their children to such pain, to follow a team that assuredly will let you down - time & time again?

The reason it is 'blind loyalty' is because of all the bars around the stadium. If you get there early it doesn't matter so much if Bump Willis is at shortstop or Todd Hundley is flipping us off or....
My grandchildren are already signed up.

That's part of the reason I've been following OU everywhere this century. I now know what is like to smoke a victory cigar and have a cocktail undiluted by the bitter tears of a stinging defeat

Boise has a huge population of Swedes....mostly from Helsinki...:pop:

Per capita they are the nations leading producer of armadillo porn.

Waffle fries are accepted as legal tender.

River Phoenix liked to have his own private Idaho at times...

According to an attorney I know who once lived in Nampa it is not illegal in Idaho to drink your own bathwater.

The official state bird of Idaho is the red-peckered cockswallow.

They have a scoreboard outside the stadium in Boise so all the former mascots (potatoes) are buried and can see the score of the game.

Cheerleaders no longer are required to dress like smurfette and smell like cabbage

They REALLY like the macarena

Boise is the 27th largest city in Montana.

Hope that helps
