I haven't been able to find out who received this honor. My guess is PT. Can anyone fill me in?

PT and Malcolm Kelly were honored on ABC but I dont know if that is the official game MVP or not.

I thought I read somewhere that the Big 12 doesnt officially recognize an MVP.

They don't give an official MVP in the game.

I do like the fact that the Huskers played so ineptly that they had to give the Player of the Game schollies to 2 Sooners instead of one from each school. :D

Although I would have given one to the DE from Nebbish who was on our RBs' jocks like genital herpes. He gave our frosh tackle fits all night long.

I'm pretty sure I read on this board somewhere that the big 12 doesn't officially recognize an MVP in the big 12 championship game.

You're welcome in advance.

Thanks. I guess that's why I couldn't find one in all of the articles that I read about the game.

Now that we know the Big XII doesn't officially award one, I would like to award the MVP to Reggie Smith for his outstanding defense all night long.

Who would you nominate?

Thompson

dude made a ton of great passes, even with guys dropping balls that hit them in the hands

Kelly set the record and made some great catches, but I would prolly give the award to Thompson. I really think his leadership made a huge difference on offence and there were so many people stepping and flying all over the field on D to make it hard to single one out.

Since we are making the award up, can we make it with a huge, gawdy trophy, complete with a shoe-box of non-sequencial 20s and a lifetime supply of turtlewax !! :D

I would give it to myself since I am Bob Stoops main football adviser

Yes. And... it is chained to the recipients ankle and can only be removed for practice and games. ;)
