Does anyone think the Big 12 Will defend it's title????
I think we will in unprecedented fashion. Observe...

OU will kill Boise State.
Texas will kill Iowa
Nebraska can beat Auburn....maybe
K-State can outscore Rutgers IMHO.
Tech will beat Minnesota
A&M can take Cal out of its game and keep it low..and squeak one out.
OsU can outscore Bama
Missouri can whip Oregon State

I predict we go 6-2....8-0 at best... 5-3 at worst

if we do defend the title, once it becomes clear that the Big 12 will win, ESPN will stop talking about it for some reason just like last year

Missouri OSU and Kstate lose!

Actually...I think Nebraska & A&M have the best chance to lose.

I agree 8-0 best, 0-8 worst

Nebbish and Mizery seem to have the toughest games.

KSU and The Cult should win, but a loss wouldn't surprise me.

OU, Saxet, OSU & Sand Aggie have favorable matchups.

I look at that and see two wins for the Big XII.

Us and Texass.

Auburn and Nebraska... I mean, c'mon. That's a stepchild whippin' if I ever saw one. And Mildcats-Rutgers? While K-State is bowl bound and everyone is happy that they punched Texass in the snoot, let us remember Rutgers is STILL a pretty dang good ballclub. They run the ball well. And from what all I've seen of 'em, could beat every team in the Big XII with the exception of our Sooners and Texass.

Out of all those games, I can see Tech beating the Gophers. A&M is a fraud as Cal will force the tempo up and turn that contest into a classic shoot 'em up, something Coach Fran and the Ags don't have the hardware to either stop or compete with. State... Yeah. I don't have to say ANYTHING there. And Mizzou is simply outgunned against the Beavers. The times I've seen Oregon State, they've looked solidly coached and big.

Either way, just my take.

Probable wins (3)
OU vs Boise State.
Texas vs Iowa
Tech vs Minn

Probable losses (4)
Nebraska vs Auburn
K-State vs Rutgers.
aTm vs Cal
Missouri vs Oregon State

Toss-up (1)
Ok St vs 'Bama

I hope I'm underestimating our conference, I will pulling for Big XII teams in all of these match-ups, though I might have to hold my nose for a couple ;)

We really had the best bowl record last year??

OU will kill Boise State

I think it's going to be too close for comfort.

Texas will kill Iowa

Definitely...if they're not in crybaby letdown mode. How do you go from BCS to Alamo Bowl with one loss? It makes me giggle. :D

Nebraska can beat Auburn....maybe

I think Auburn pours it on. Bugeaters lose in a great way.

K-State can outscore Rutgers IMHO.

I have no idea about this one.

Tech will beat Minnesota

Like a drum.

A&M can take Cal out of its game and keep it low..and squeak one out.

This depends on which Cal team shows up. I think Cal wins. They won't be in crybaby letdown mode like they were a couple of years ago when they got snubbed by the BCS.

OsU can outscore Bama

Bama will be even more disarray without a head coach. Sheepshaggers win, and claim they're better than us because we're 0-1 in the Independence Bowl.

Missouri can whip Oregon State

I don't know about that. Missouri has been Jekyl and Hyde as usual--they lost to Iowa State. The Beavers have had a strong finish.

Sounds about right, except CAL may take A&M.
