Just a few pics of the trip up and a video of our celebration after the win. The weather was great for flying but, down right coooooooooooold at the game! The snow was all over Kansas and NE Oklahoma in fact we had to divert to Ponca City to drop off the young-uns because our original destination was snowed in. We finally made it to Downtown wheeler airport just before 6pm. We hopped in a cab and $40 later (Ouch!) made it to the stadium. Froze our butts off but, it was well worth it. Congrats Sooners!

I wish I had an aerial shot of Arrowhead just after the game. It was pretty obvious where the Nebraska fans were sitting. :D

Nice pics! Man, what a frozen tundra that was. At what point will you call off a flight, temperature wise?

This particular plane doesn't have a limitation on temperature for flight. Usually if you can get the engine started and oil to warm up you're good to go.

We left KC at midnite and temps were 18 deg F. The plane started right up without a problem.
