That seems low. I'm thinking it will be between 9 and 10 by game time. Especially if they announce Peterson will play.

Here are the others if anyone cares.

OSU -7.5

LSU -7.5

USC -3.5

Louisville -9

With four of the five point spreads being over a TD, it sounds like the line makers arent real happy with the matchups either.

And OU -3x Nebulon was way too low also. Is there any reason Vegas doesn't think the bettors respect us?

FWIW:

We should beat BSU, sure. But let's not forget that they will be very highly motivated. They are an underdog with lots to prove and practically nothing to lose. First, they need to prove that they "belong." What better way to show they belong than by beating a legendary program like OUrs? And we all know that upsets happen; ask USCl.
I hope OUr guys (i.e., Birdine) keep quiet and take care of business.

i think they see us as an inconsistent team still for some reason. perhaps mistake prone with all the fumbles we have had and fear that while we win, we wont win big, which has been true except for these last 2 games

I was seriously expecting 14 points

edit: oh yeah, bet the house.

I'd throw a paycheck or two at that Louisville game. WF's offense is atrocious. Their D's decent, but Brohm should tear them apart.

apparently Vegas doesnt think that Michigan is the #2 team in the country either

My predictions are that: We win big. LSU wins big. Michigan and Florida in squeakers, and a split NC with Michigan winning the AP and Florida as BCS champ

Good point. Although you have to look at USC as the home team in this one. They won't have to travel, and they will have the home crowd.

Vegas is basically saying the teams are even, and the "home field" being worth 3 points typically, makes USC a 3 point fave.
