Well, point taken about Boise State. I don't think they can beat most of the two loss teams in the top 25, personally.

My top 5
1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. Florida
4. Oklahoma
5. Louisville

Michigan just might be better than Ohio St. on a neutral field.

How about they schedule someone worth a ****! Belly up to the bar and schedule OU, Auburn, etc.... Do this even if you don't get the return trip. If your team is such hot ****, prove it. Then the respect will come.

There are plenty of top teams that don't schedule any tough ooc opponents and it doesn't usually hurt them too badly.

I'm betting that those teams play in a tough conference. My remarks are only directed towards teams from the MAC, Mountain West, C-USA etc... that always cry because they are undefeated and still not given any respect.

If your normal slate of teams is weak, you need BCS teams for your OOC schedule to get any respect.

I don't think a mid-major team deserves top ten unless they've beaten a good team from a major conference

i would imagine that Boise St would love to schedule a home and home with a big name team, but I also doubt that any big team would want to go up there to play those guys

While I agree that they beat everyone on their schedule, the teams are supposed to be ranked by the quality of the team, not just their record. I think there's several 2-loss teams that are better than Boise State. I only hope that we're one of them.

That's when they have to realize their situation and just accept some away games. If they want respect, they have to earn it against the big boys.

A BCS team is at a great disadvantage when playing a team like Boise State. If they win, it's expected. If they lose, then they must suck.

Boise State (I almost wrote BS but thought it might be mistaken as a slam against their team) has to realize that and schedule a few games away just for that reason.

I hope so too. Even though they are capable of beating a good team, and any team can win on any given day, I don't think they'll know what hit them when they come up against OU's defense. That's my prediction at least :)

Yep. It was to a ranked team right? And they do only have 2 losses.

Thanks for the info.

Looks like scheduling more BCS schools in previous years didn't work out too well for them. I guess that's why they tried just one Pac-10 team this year.

a ranked team and their 2nd string QB.

i love a feel good story as much as the next guy, but i'm a little tired of hearing about Rutgers.

with all the media-phobes on this board, god help us if Rutgers ever strings together a few winning seasons in a row.
