Southern Miss v Houston
USM just scored; they lead 10-7. Nobody has punted so far. Maybe they'll show some cheerleader bootie.

I waited too long to go see Casino Royale; maybe Sunday evening.

I watched the MaC game last nite and wow Ohio's QB made Eric Moore look like Dan Marino. The fact that Solich got to the title game with his *** means he must be doing something right.

I predict UH will go for it

Its funny cause my room mate from Illinois went to high school with that Ohio QB bowers, and everytime something bad happened to him my roommate was cheering, apparently that Bowers guy from Ohio is one of the worlds biggest ******s.

Though I'm watching the CUSA game, and my question is, does the ref normally get to watch a replay through that little monitor, cause the CUSA official got to see a copy of the replay and communicate with the replay official. If thats not standard practice I think it should be. Though that may be a CUSA only thing, the CUSA commish is an OU alum..

I'm pretty sure each conference makes their own rules/regs about replay, so it's prolly unique to this conf. or game. I haven't seen it elsewhere in the college game.

Pretty good TD run by Kolb.

H-town looks like they've got some pretty good speed on their team.

Or the other guys are slow.

-Yeah, the "ND lost to great teams (in blowouts) " doesn't hold water when they beat a schizo GT team as their best win.

- That TD was crazy. Were the **** were the safeties??

I'm sick of hearing the "they play the toughest schedule EVAR!!!" argument.

Yes it's ONE of the tougher schedules, but they don't play the toughest schedule year in and year out. The other announcer listed it as 19th toughest. How is that special?

It would be interesting to see how tough their schedule is compared to teams that play in the top conferences year in and year out.

Ruh roh, Raggy. Fumble.

So. Miss might be in meltdown mode.

What made it tough was the teams that defeated them. Hells bells, they were lucky that Navy had a decent year.

True dat.

I'm still trying to figure out how getting blown out by the good teams on your schedule somehow makes you a good team.

Based on that logic, couldn't the Sun Belt make an argument for the most dominant teams in 1-A?

heh

This is ludicrous that it is a conversation and it can be blamed solely on one person...

I'm listening to this game. I'm gonna get in as much football this weekend as possible. Next week will be tough.

Houston's not bad. No excuse for losing to LaLa, though.

27-20 Houston 5:43 left

Go Cougars!

"conceptual" design group high on Red Bull nonsense you see these days

The Houston paw tends to separate the middle and index fingers (some suspect it originated as an anti-UT sign: flippin' the bird in the middle of the Longhorn sign). In a classic shocker, the middle and index fingers are together.

I suppose it was inevitable given their team nickname, but Wichita State cheerleaders and fans actually do rock the shocker these days:

And KC, I agree, I like Art, too. I think he needs a few more years of sustained success at UH before a major comes calling. Although, he probably would have been a good hire for ISU.

Briles went to school at UH. That would be a very easy program to get going. Maybe if they regain some respectability the alums will come back ala Rutgers.

It'd be awesome to see him revive that program.

BUT did they have a sell out crowd last night? We watched a portion of it. The local Sports Radio hosts were going to dress up in cheerleader outfits if it was a sellout. Anyone know if that happened?

Being in drag in the 3rd ward - not very smart. :)

Only like 1000 kids live close to campus anyways. Big time commuter school.
