Wister, OK (AP) Infamous local resident Olevetonahill is cashing in on the area's recent weather. His hill is now the Sooner State's first ski area. Lift tickets cost 50 cents, but you must realize that Olevet drags you up his hill with the winch on the front of his P/U truck. Once at the top, Olevet will duct-tape two 1x4's on your shoes and give you two old brooms as poles.

Hillbilly skiing at its finest.;)

And Olevets ski bunker and grille is the best in the state! Vienna sausages and Natty light to round out the perfect day schussing thru the Poteau powder.

Smokers are always welcome, as long as they are willing to share.

This is the freakiest snowstorm-type-thingy in a long time. OU closed for 2 days. That is epic and unprecedented.
