My mom just told me she had a dream about me having an elephant in the house...a baby elephant in her childhood home. there were 3 of them, and she said "Cris, you know if you let the babies in the house, the mother will follow"

she doesn't remember if i was a kid or a grown up in the dream.

Elephant in the room. Is there some big obvious strain between the two of you that you are avoiding?

"Cris, you know if you let the babies in the house, the mother will follow"
This may be the rub. I don't know if you have kiddos, but your Mom has grand-baby fever! And hasn't forgotten your surly teenager years.

I have 2 teenagers....and they are both very nice, sweet, gracious, kind, intelligent children and good looking. I'm not making this up.
