...you were not screwed at Oregon? Also, has Ohio State and Oklahoma ever played before?

What a game that would be.

1) No. Michigan and USC would be ranked ahead of us.

2) 1977, at the 'Shoe. The Kick by Uwe Von Schaman. Read up on your OU history.

If you would not be number 2 in the BCS, where would you have ended up?

Great game. Only other meeting was 1983.

And we would still be behind Meechigan and the Condoms, and likely Florida as well if we hadn't "lost" to Oregon.

Since he keeps saying "you" and not "we" I don't think he's an OU fan.

I really dont think so, Ohio State USC and Michigan are playing in a different league right now. Not to take anythign away from OU but i dont think it would be very pretty. Even with AD it wouldnt be as good as a game as some other teams. On the other hand, stranger things have happened.

Arguable, because UF's loss to Auburn was a few weeks after the Oregon debacle, which was on the same weekend as LSU's loss to Auburn.

The real issue is that we could spending loads of time arguing about how we deserve a chance and how ESPN keeps dissing us by saying we don't belong.

Not only that, but when usc beats tosu in the title game, we beat an undefeated Boise State team, and Meechigan loses to LSU in the Rose Bowl, we'd have our 8th MNC - ala usc!

Or maybe we can just look back in the record books, and claim one from 1936 or something, just like SUC did 3 years ago. According to them, they actually won 2 national titles in 2003, the fake one in the Rose Bowl against a weak UM team, and one in 1939 (or something).
