Seriously though, I think that coming out the same season as Studio 60 can't have helped that show at all.

The names and premises are similar enough to make people think, "another show like that?"

Maybe the new time slot will help... except not at my house. My wife DVR's the OC and Grey's Anatomy, so I do something besides watch TV.

I watched it for the first time last night.

The whole Tracy thing with the face tattoo was hilarious.

i started watching 30 rock midway through november. i'm now officially a fan. the Jack Tor episode was hilarious.

"what are you all gonna do....correlate....overseas....report....dynamics?"

".......yes......"

man, i was just laughing my arse off.

I dig the show. I agree that it was bad programming to premiere both 30 Rock and Studio 60 in the same season. Actually, I like both of those shows.

Technology is cyclical.

Alec Baldwin is a deadpan comedy goldmine.

I love the show. The series premiere is the funniest episode of any show I've seen in the past few years.

I haven't seen it yet. I meant to catch it last night and forgot about it. Anything with Tina Fey I'm all for. I'll go see if there's any clips out on youtube.

Of course, the first clip I pull up is this one. maybe NSFW. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=9WASH5HcONg)

This scene is pretty funny though :D

You know, I haven't been checking, but are they still doing the cameo appearances as a different character each week for whatshername from Saturday Night Live? She was supposed to play Jane Krakowski's character but was so massively terrible they canned her while shooting the pilot.

I watched the first two episodes and wasn't impressed at all. Tina Fey was good at weekend update (though an awful head writer), but she's not a sitcom actor. Tracy Morgan was just a butt whipping. I might have to give it a second chance...

I'm sorry but I've seen nothing from her to make me think she's either funny or talented.

is true about Baldwin though, he's great at comedy.

Any jokes about Tracy's apparent alcohol dependence?

someone is finally giving Tracy Morgan a chance. I love it.

It's always sunny in Philadelphia...

is funnier.

Then again that makes me, one person watching it. Therefore it cannot be the funniest show no one is watching... technically speaking.
