I found this DVD at Vintage Stock in Tulsa for $9.99 for the kids.

We found a Cyndi Lauper Video in the extras and the video has a cameo of Andre the Giant chasing Rowdy Roddy Piper...lol.

Anyway....since Pirates of the Caribbean was such a hit for my kids...they are now hooked on the Goonies.

Next Video to find for them...

The Sandlot.

Oh man I hated the Goonies when I was a kid. I always watched but I hated it.
Ditto to that movie with the Savage kid from Wonder Years who had a monster under his bed..

The worst of the worst though when I was growing up was The Neverending Story.

The Sandlot is a great movie.

I saw Andre the Giant "wrestle" when I was a kid - had to be mid 70's. Dude was friggin huge.

I saw The Goonies in the cinema when it first came out. Even begged my mom to buy me the book adaptation of the movie.

"ANDY, YOU GOONIE!"
Yes, I was one of those that thought Kerri Green was smokin' hot in that movie. Whatever happened to her anyway?

Every time I see a Baby Ruth bar in the vending machine at work, I always make it a point to say "Ba-by Roof," a la Sloth.

Also, I thought it was pretty cool at the end when they escaped from the cave and all their parents were running out to meet them that Chunk's folks brought Domino's Pizza.

Now that makes me want that DVD more and more.

Goonies and Sandlot are staples around the In Norman household. Along with Princess Bride, if that's what SicEm was referring to.
