Anyone flying to Wheeler Arpt (KMKC) for game?

I would like to split cab fare to and from the stadium. My ETA into MKC is 4pm so, we could meet up then and make the trip to the sports complex.

Also, I have space available for one more person if interested in flying from Wichita. The roads may be a boogger to deal with after this storm blows through and flying above all that traffic is worth it. PM for details. I wouldn't charge a whole lot. Just maybe to help out a little with fuel.

Heh! No falling asleep on my watch. The A&M game kickoff was 7pm too and I had to dodge thunderstorms back to Wichita. Good thing it only took 3 hours to get back but, still arriving at 2am stinks!

Hey Kab, just curious, but how much it cost for you to fly someone??

Always wondered about that.

For this airplane a Cessna T206, it's about $110 an hour to operate. I'll be looking at spending close to $300 just to go to KC and back.

Cessna 172s are about $55-60/hr. It really varies from plane to plane. Some people will say their plane is only $X/hr to operate but, aren't including annual inspections, overahauls, etc... into their estimate.
