Ponca City is under a freakin' BLIZZARD WARNING until 9pm!

I have never been under a blizzard warning before.

I can't remember the last time we had a blizzard warning around here.

Of course, this means that portions of I-35 will be buried. It is now predicted that we will get up to 18 inches of snow!

Are we supposed to duct tape our windows, or take shelter in our hidey holes?

make sure you get to the grocery stores and buy as much crap as you possibly can...get in violent fist fights with other patrons if possible...you could be stuck in your house for as much as half a day or more!!!!

I bet he knows as much about the weather as the local weathermen do.

The worst snow I remember in Tulsa was when they said all we would get was a "light dusting". They cancelled school at lunch and sent us home. Apparently light dusting=8 to 12 inches, and significant amount=1 to 3 inches.

don't worry, blizzards are fun (if you don't have to drive in 'em)...

I'll take a blizzard warning over a tornado warning anyday! :)

They just had a weather bulletin and said that it snowed so much that Robert Allen was covered by a drift!!

Last time we (Alabama) was under a blizzard warning was 1993, we got about 2-3 feet of snow...

I measured 9" in my front yard and a 20" drift.

Opens some windows and move away from them.
Listen for the roar.
If you live in a mobile home, seek other shelter immediately.

Yeah, and Ponca City Public Schools didn't cancel for today either. Had a caller on the morning show today say, "Oh there's nothing here. I'm taking my kids into school in 15 minutes."

I just looked at the radar and laughed.
