So, I guess he showed up on the set of The View tanked and then did an interview. That should make for an interesting video.



An admittedly sloshed Danny DeVito (http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:siteSearch%28%27Danny%20DeVito%27%29;) staggered onto "The View" Wednesday -- cracking jokes about having sex with his wife in the White House and getting bleeped on the live show after calling President Bush "numb nuts."

DeVito, who's promoting his new movie, "Deck the Halls," (http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:siteSearch%28%27%22Deck%20the%20Halls,%22%27% 29;) walked onto the show's set unsteadily, and attributed his slurred speech to some all-night carousing with pal George Clooney (http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:siteSearch%28%27George%20Clooney%27%29;).

"I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that were going to get me," he said about the Italian liqueur he apparently quaffed.

limoncello is so nasty by itself...but it tastes really good over limon gelato. i tried to bring a bottle of it home from italia but it broke in my carry-on bag

I like limoncello. And I buy it at stores here - no need to go to Italy for it. ;)

He's made some lame apology to The View. No word on any apology (lame or otherwise) to the President.

oh, i didn't go there just for that

i just found some really cool looking bottles of it and wanted a souvenir. i guess with the new rules about bringing liquids on a plane, i couldn't bring any home now anyway.

the view comes on at 11:00 EST? That tells me he was drinking after the sun was up.
