My wife was told by her coworkers that the temperatures in the low 20's will kill the pansies in our flower bed.
Even on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we had nights in the upper teens and
lower 20s from time to time, so I call this BS.
Heck, on Slickdaughter's FIRST birthday, it snowed/sleeted about 1 inch, and
stayed below freezing for 3 days, the pansies were fine.
So unless there's something unique about Texas, I just don't buy this.
