Hotels in KC

Does anybody have any ideas, or suggestions for finding a hotel? My buddy and i are headed up Saturday, and i have yet to find a room, outside of paying $1200 at Harrah's... HELP, PLEASE!!! Can we room with any of you that already have rooms??? J/K! TIA!

Dude, there were about 5 or 6 of us on here Sunday crying and looking like crazy. I hit reload on Orbitz, Expedia, Hotels.com and 2 or three others for about 4 hours straight. Finally some came open at the Sheraton and I think all of us were able to get one.

I've looked a few times since and seen nothing outside of Lawerence, which I think is about 40-50 miles away. Hopefully you'll have some cancellations come in. I know when I called Hyatt on Sun. they told me people had until midnight tonight to cancel for Saturday. I'd start calling now and call back at 12:01 to see if they had any cancellations.

I'd just start driving back to Oklahoma after we win and hit the Days Inn in Harrisonville.

We stayed there once. We were tired and just needed to put the kids in a bed for the night after a long day in KC.

We are staying at American Inn in Blue Springs, Missouri (about 12 minutes from the stadium). Big cost of 37.52/night! All they had available was smoking. You might check there.

I have a hotel reservation ($59) in Ottawa, KS, which is on I-35 about 50 miles SW of Kansas City. I have not received my tickets as of yet, so I do not know where they are. But I will sell them for face value and you can have my room reservation, if you need that too.

I live in Edmond and I'm willing to meet halfway (within reason) to deliver tickets.
