I'm leaving for snow removal...driving a dump truck with salt and sand, and a big arse blade on the front. I'm not as comfortable in these things as I am in a full size tractor-trailer...they just don't seem as "stable"

My route will be north of I-40 on Highway 4 in Yukon.

10-4? :texan:

I'll be back home sometime tomorrow.

:wtf:

So you won't be 'removing' it as much as 'melting' it, right?

I'm sure Norman is already dumping sand on the roads. You know what's worse to drive on than ice? Wet sand. But after awhile the sand will be covered by a layer of ice, so it's okay.

If I see you this far south, I'll definitely take extreme precautions.

why have the fine people at DOT and Oklahoma City not figured out that mag chloride sprayed on the roads before the snow/ice hits does wonders for driveability.

Maybe they can't tell the difference between that stuff and sand....

I could see that, one being a liquid and the other being a solid and all.
