View Full Version : If you had to pick another Big XII South team to win a NC, who?

I pondered this question this morning on my drive into work. It would be a hard pick. I guess I would pick A&M and Tech in that order. I guess I am feeling kind of warm and fuzzy towards A&M and Fran after getting the job done in Austin. If not for last years questionable loss to Tech, I would put them first, because I do like Leach.

Baylor, hands down....They have never had much luck in football.... I want A&M to lose all important games, hurt their ability to get 4 star or 5 star kids. Tech, I dont want them to win crap, freak fans!!!! Baylor has some class and great fans...

I guess I was going more from the coaches perspective. If you went by fans, it would have to be Baylor.

Saxet or Sand Aggie. It sure as hell wouldn't be The Cult or Aggie Lite. My mind can't accept Baylor as a NC.

Oh but I did laugh.....it WAS funny......not looking for a gun battle because of an off the cuff remark..........Not looking to get even either......

It would be something to see Leach take the Raiders on that kind of a journey. They'd kiss the ground he walked on for doing that, afterwhich they would have to spit out a bunch of thorn-filled dirt (assuming they weren't first bitten dead by a snake during the whole ground-kissing process).

Come on guys this is a football board thread, it isn't supposed to be intentionally funny. ;) Other non Big XII conference teams I would like to see win it would be Tulsa, Hawaii, UTEP, South Florida and South Carolina.

Absolutely Tech. The press conferences alone would be worth it.

Then again, I can't imagine how good Mike Leach's offense would be after recruiting off a national title.

Boise State is my favorite PS2 team. But Tech is right there with them. So, Tech v. Boise makes a whale of a NC game. I'd probably root for the Blue. Leach's pre and post game interviews would be instant gold.
