:D I wish it'd work out to where we play LSU in a bowl game!

EDIT: That file was bogging down the thread.....so I changed it to a link.

That is one strange dude.

I particularly like the smirk on his face as he walks away, as though he just delivered the Gettysburg address or something.

Now, Swanny, if you'll excuse me, I have to go get my *** kicked 52-9.

He was hinting that LSU is the REAL best team in the country after they beat Arkansas. It reminded me of some of his comments before 52-9. May someone hammer him in the bowl game.

After the sugar bowl and getting a good look at how LSU fans SUCK, I think he is a good fit for them and stays there forever... If he sticks around they will soon be a 7-5 or 8 -4 program......

When Les went to LSU, I thought he was going to a pretty consistent program. I read some blurb the other day about how this is the first time in their history they've had back to back 10 win seasons. Also, this is the first time in their history they've gone undefeated at home. Those facts really surprised me. With all the talent down there, they should be pretty damn good every year. Checkout their records from the last 16 years:

Season Coach Overall Record Conf. Record Bowl Game Final Ranking
1990 Mike Archer 5-6 2-5
1991 Curley Hallman 5-6 3-4
1992 Curley Hallman 2-9 1-7
1993 Curley Hallman 5-6 3-5
1994 Curley Hallman 4-7 3-5
1995 Gerry DiNardo 7-4-1 4-3-1 Independence Bowl
1996 Gerry DiNardo 10-2 6-2 Peach Bowl 12
1997 Gerry DiNardo 9-3 6-2 Independence Bowl 13
1998 Gerry DiNardo 4-7 2-5
1999 Gerry DiNardo 3-8 1-7
Season Coach Overall Record Conf. Record Bowl Game Final Ranking
2000 Nick Saban 8-4 5-3 Peach Bowl 22
2001 Nick Saban 10-3 6-3 Sugar Bowl 7
2002 Nick Saban 8-5 5-3 Cotton Bowl
2003 Nick Saban 13-1 7-1 Sugar Bowl 1

2005 Les Miles 11-2 7-1 Peach Bowl 5
2006 Les Miles 10-2, with a bowl to go

Which 'sucker' are they playing in a bowl this year?

aw, come ON, stater! You all remember the inevitable meltdown versus CRAPPY Tennessee after the flood waters lowered last season!

HOW is it possible that such a good team fall to such a bad team after such a huge lead?

Jeffrey Skilling on line one for you.

I don't particularly like him or his weirdo brusque in-your-face bit, but he's a heck of a football coach and, I would imagine, a thoroughly decent guy.

Oklahoma A&M:

1904 Record: 0-4-1

L 0-23 at Chilocco Indian College
T 0-0 Chilocco Indian College
L 0-6 at Tonkawa Prepatory
L 0-11 at Kingfisher
L 0-75 vs. Oklahoma at Guthrie

The following year they did get a win over Central Oklahoma but dropped a heartbreaker (5-6) to TUSLA BUSINESSMEN.

But, the BUSINESSMEN have long been known for their stiffling D and blazing speed!

Now that I think about it...how many D1 schools can honestly say they held a Prepatory school AND a group of business men to under SEVEN points each in successive years, huh??? (Prolly, bsu.)

Nah, nobody can touch that record... OSU also holds the record for most career days surrendered to an opposing player in the history of the world.

Because the training regimen for our players was all borked up after the "flood waters lowered" as you so eloquently put it. After getting up 21-0 and after the resulting emotional high, there was simply nothign left in the tank during the second half.

Not to mention Pelini's insistence on playing a soft zone D against the quick pass.

Not to mention Rick Clausen, a LSU transfer to UT, playing the game of his LIFE.

And, in case anyone wants to bring up the 34-14 debacle in the SECCG, I blame that on 11 straight weeks of playing and an injured throwing wrist on our All-SEC QB.

If ya'll win, it's Boise. If ya'll lose, it's Cotton against most likely Auburn.

I'd throw that game, honestly.

I'm hearing there might be a deal brewing between the Rose Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl. The Rose would take Oklahoma and let the Fiesta have Notre Dame. It works out better for everyone involved. The Rose Bowl doesnt get a rematch and the Fiesta gets the darlings of college football playing another patsy and winning.

I think everyone realizes that if Texas would have won last weekend, we would have been a lock for the Rose Bowl right now. However, getting a conference champioship ring is never a bad thing. Even if it means you have to go play an unproven team in the Fiesta Bowl.

OU-LSU in the rose?

ESPN Radio has already reported that LSU will be invited and it will be announced Sunday. Michigan is a virtual lock to be invited as well.

The only other scenario I can see is the Rose picking ND and LSU and sending Michigan to the Sugar bowl.

Of course, if USC loses to UCLA, all bets are off.
