Aaron Allen-2 star OT out of kansas, 6-8, 315...yikes!!
No story yet but he is listed on scout as a commit. IT is funny to me that he is a two star cus I think atleast 3 of ou's commits this year have started off as 2 stars and after scout or rivals got wind of them committing to OU, they raised them to 3 or 4 stars. FUnny how that works

I don't think any of the guys who cover OU recruiting are saying this guy has an offer. Chris Perry removing his name from consideration as an OL might have opened up an OL scholly for this class, but I sorta doubt it.

This kid has been claiming he had an OU offer for months, but what I'm hearing is that he was asked to visit with no offer extended yet.

thats fine, im just saying he is listed as a commit and that scout says he has an offer. And since scout is a recruiting service I figured it was accurate. If you want to dispute it thats fine, im not saying you are wrong

Relax, friend. The kid is telling anyone who will listen that he's got an OU offer. Scout's own OU reporter is saying that he doesn't. Scout is listing him as a solid verbal, probably because the kid is saying that he's going to OU and won't take any other visits. He has yet to show anyone an offer in writing.

I'm making fun of the kid, not of you.

He doesn't have an offer yet and he may end up being a committed walk-on. He is a big kid, but let's not forget about Steven Taylor either.

he was a camp offer from wilson, not much of a surprise he had a bad back. 1/2 the cats he recruited were damaged goods...

Speaking of commits, what is the status of Chris Perry from Keller? Someone said he decommited from Miami, then somone said he did not. I'm lazy and have not looked it up myself. Anyone? Beuler! Beuler

He has also eliminated OU as a possibility.

OU wants him as an OL. He has no desire to play OL.

by the way Mrich, allen is no longer listed as a commit on scout, I guess they got so caught up in being the first to announce the story that they forgot there wasnt a story? LOL!
