Boo to UNC with Davis is what I have heard, Bill Cowher to NC State is the rumor for there.

Well, he didn't sign his normal extension this year and Bettis said this was "probably" going to be Cowher's last year with the Steelers. It doesn't look like he has been having much fun with the Steelers this year, after all he has won a Superbowl now and is maybe tired of the pro game after being at Pittsburgh for so long.

He and his wife bought a house in Raleigh, NC this off-season and she is living there and not in Pittsburgh, he is an NC State alum and his wife used to be a basketball coach there.

Now that Amato has been booted, it looks like it may have been set up for him to take the job at the end of this season. That is what is generating those rumors, I could see it happening.
