An Unnecessarily Mathematical Breakdown of OU/NU

Yes, this is overly mathematical and doesn’t take into account many aspects of the game, but I was bored. Make of this what you will. It looks to me like it will be a defensive struggle, in which case I like OU’s chances because I think our defense is playing better that NU’s is at this point. In my opinion the ridiculously cold weather will favor a run game, which also helps OU more than NU. The game looks pretty darn even on paper, but as far as intangibles go I think Oklahoma has a sizeable advantage, especially if AD comes back. If you can’t tell, I’m really looking forward to this game! OU/NU playing for the conference title is the way it should be every year.

I favor our run game over their run defense and our run defense will have to step up to put pressure on that damn halfback of theirs...
