1. New Stadium Look and fans
Very nice on the outside and the concession area, but same Aggies on the inside. After the scored their second touchdown, multiple pom poms were hurled into the OU section, with the heavier plastic end acting like a weight when coming down. My finace was hit in the side of the face with a wadded up 1 use handiwipe (still in the package, so it had some pop to it). It actually bounced of her and hit the Aggie in fron of us in the back. He turned around, glared at her, and then down at the object, like she threw it him from 6 inches away

2. Duck Calls
Hey, Aggots. Nice orange and black duck calls. The whole nation knows we got screwed by the replay official. Those will come in real handy after this season. Good purchase. Right before halftime, a student walked down blowing on one. Some guy from the OU section yelled out "You're 6-5 and you lost to Houston you *******!" :D

3. PA Announcer
Busch League POS. This is why you're program will never amount to anything. It goes all the way to the top. The Visitors? 3rd and a long 1 for the Visitors? So. ****ing. Stupid. You have to tell the crowd when to be loud. way to get the "Orange" "Power" chant (which was weak BTW) going when we were on Offense. When it stopped as we broke the huddle, they forgot they are supposed to yell when we have the ball.

4. The Pride
They were loud and played at almost every break in play, even between plays. I was very happy and the OSU students were very ****ed. :D

Did they play 'Return of the Tres?'

Sorry for your experience but not one that I shared. I didn't meet a rude fan and was actually congratulated by a couple before I left the stadium.

I sat on the SouthWest side. I saw Yermom leaving as I was making my way out. It looked like he was coming from the SouthEast Side. Maybe he can say how the Aggie fans were in his section.

My parents took my sister to an OSU/Baylor game in Stoolwater one year. Well, my sister is a Baylor fan since I go there of course, while my parents have remained true to OSh*tU.

Anyway, my sister had a Baylor shirt on and she had had a ton of obscene things screamed her way by OSU students even with my parents standing right there in their orange and black.

OSU fans experience the same types of stories in Norman. Bedl@m just makes all of the immature idiots stand out.

True, but at least we're not dumb enough to put some visitors and their band right next to the students.

well, you have a good example here of what you'd experience.

on november 7, 1973 i came into this world as a sooner fan because my dad graduated from ou with a business degree.

i should thank him for attending a great school with one of the finest football programs in the world.

i feel sorry for osu fan's that were raised similarly. poor bastards.

Yeah that is dumb. I found it kind of humorous that there was a row of Norman police in the aisles between the students and OU band.

Amen. I've attended games at Stillwater in which we've won and lost. Their fans are ****ty no matter what the outcome. They're sore losers and terrible winners.

Don't waste your time, Make some chili and watch from home or stake out a spot at your favorite sports bar. On my last trip to the Stool, someone poured beer all over my new car, evidently because I had a left an OU visor in the back window. Several other OU fans in our area had incidents, some to a lesser degree, some a little more damaging. We were in that rattle trap stadium watching the game but evidently some of those rascally little cowpokes on the hospitality committee were roaming the parked cars for a little good natured vandalism. Just good cowpuke fun when you can victimize a gooner or squat or whatever it was they were calling us that week.

Once inside the stadium, you can expect approximately the same reception as would be afforded Osama Bin Laden. Dirty looks, what are you doing here stares, etc. Being of the thick skinned variety, I never paid much attention to them or tried to engage them in conversation, which was fine because they spent a lot of time bellowing ORANGE POWER. It would have been more fun if they had yelled POWDERED DOUGHNUTS but after you listen to it for a while that's sort of what it starts to sound like.

Their famous gag and vomit joint, Eskimo Joe's, is just a tee shirt sellin' emporium with cheese fries. Food isn't as good as it is at the State Fair in Tulsa IMO.

You can, however, be on hand to witness the unveiling of the tradition of the week, i.e. the walk or stroll or whatever they call it and now the new and ever so exciting Ride 'Em Rags.

My favorite story of poke hospitality is when they poured water on the Pride of Oklahoma as they marched by on their way to the stadium. Ruined some uniforms and damaged some instruments but the Pride played on. On another occasion, the OU band was seated in an area that left no room for the band director, Dr. Gene Thrailkill. OSU security told him to stand on the sideline, which he did. During the second half they told him he could not stand there and physically removed him from the stadium. As he was being dragged away he told the Pride to "play Boomer until we win." They did, we won and the Pride was awarded a game ball. The next year, due to a mysterious complaint to the NCAA, a rule was enacted the prohibits a band from playing when the opposing team has the ball.

Even if Holder hadn't tried to scalp us this year then was stupid enough to practically admit it I wouldn't have gone because all they were trying to do was extort donation money from Sooners fans to make up for the cheapskate OSU fans that sit on their wallets waiting for Daddy Boone to do it. They will wait a mighty long time before they ever get a donation from me. Never, yeah never works for me.

Thanks for letting me get that out of my system. I feel much better now.

That announcer would also blare very loud music/noise when our offense was in the huddle and on the line.

Perhaps an anonymous call to the NCAA is in order. That's how the pokes conduct business so perhaps turnabout is fair play.

You got that right. I was born a Sooner fan but ended up going to the wrong school. I saw from the inside what p!ss poor and classless fans the pokes can be. Of course there are always exceptions, but as a whole you can't go wrong with OUAndy's comment.

We have always had armed escorts when we go up there, especially after 1998 when they threw the goal post on us. When the truck crew would go in early too, we always had an officer escort us for safety reasons. OSU fans are very classless and I will NEVER go back to a ****** game up there. I actually fear what they will do one day. lOSUrs!

Scalpers were asking for $250 each with less than 20 minutes before kickoff. An OSU fan asked for $600 each because the tickets were so special; you get to sit next to Governor Brad Henry (I voted for him and do not care to pay that much for a 3 hour game to sit next to him) and free drinks (which is fine but still not worth $600). The duck callers were just plain stupid and the fans kept on heckling my friend and I after the game. One got up into his face and my friend punched him in the stomach and well did something with the duck caller that I will not go in further with on here.

OSU fans used to be somewhat civil in my past experiences but all that has changed. They suck and will never have anything to root for.

I was at the game and sat 6 rows up from the field in the south end zone near the goal line. I was with several OU fans and the section to the right of us were the oh so obnoxious Cow Dropping fans. Before the start of the 2nd half an OSU manager about got into a scuffle with an OU male cheerleader and the dumb yet courageous (lol) horsepig gets nearby and the OSU manager walks off.

One good thing to note about Oklahoma State is their cherrleaders. WOWOWOWOW they are fine in those tight black chaps and oh so tan, luscious mid-sections. I was like, our cheerleaders do not measure up to OSU's.

When OSU was driving and was in our territory with :18 left we and I assume other OU fans felt the same way, were soooo damn tense and stressing out because they looked like they were going to put us away. The Garrett Hartley missed XP was going through my mind the whole game and when the clock hit 0:00 we were all warn out and just stood there for a few seconds then cheered because the Sooners had just won their 5th South title.

BTW, Goone Stilts-ken Stadium is ugly. Yeah they have the brick outside to make it look somewhat more attractive but it sure didn't hide the always familiar stilts look. At least Gaylord Stadium has some attraction to it- the brick and architecture looks REAL.
