They can most likely give you numbers of other accomodations that may not be listed on the web page.

Thanks for the info. Any chance that they might be building any new hotels that will open between now and Friday? Judging on my research today, I'd say they probably need about 300 or so additional hotels.

I travel a lot and I've never had this much trouble finding a hotel room anywhere.

It's strange.........we've never had this problem before at the other Big XII Championships........at least I don't remember people complaining about it here.

Linky to the Motel 6 by my house......had no problemo in finding a room for $45/night for both Friday and Saturday nights.

Thanks, I'd take it if it were not a smoking room. I could tough it out, but my daughter couldn't. That is progress though, I have now verified there are at least 2 hotel rooms available in the KC area - both smoking - 1 for $45 per night and 1 for $570.99 per night.

Sorry, that is not true - Harrah's is also available for the very special f you in the goat ace rate of $1,200 per night.
