To be the #1 OSU fan, when you are at an OSU game should you wear something that said "OSU" on it? Or once you break a billion are you too cool for school logos? I mean a Nike swoosh, ok but that is obvious.

I know he's footing the bill for this construction project, but it's clear that Aggie Lite's fan base doesn't have either the inclination or the pocket depth to buy these new fangled fancy seats they got. I wonder just how much of the ticket sales are going back in Pickens' pocket to subsidize the building of this slicked up turd? Pickens is a shrewd d00d and I guarantee it's not as simple as him just writing a check to cover whatever this imminent fiasco might cost them.

He thinks;
If I build it they will come
and they will
then the cowboys will still suck
and they won't come
and orange is still ****ing ugly
and Boone Pickens is still a heartless ****stick
and the stadium will gather dust
and rust
just like it has since they built it.

"It's a new day in Stillwater" according to Tboone's interview on the sidelines, but the standings say that aggie lite is tied with Baylor for last place in the Big 12 South, sounds like the same old day, same old song....

i still don't understand how adding seats to the stadium is going to help the program.

i mean, people don't just decide they want to be aggies. where are the fans going to come from? there's no way there are 60,000 aggies in the u.s.

You know, a dream of mine is to purchase OSU, take it private, spin off all the profitable parts, then ****can the rest.

I figure I could get decent money for an IPO of the ag department spinoff. The athletics complex I think I could get some money from Nike or Adidas or something as a good place to hold national AAU tourneys or something.

LOOK AT THIS!

October 31, 2006 -- The ne'er-do-well son of billionaire Texas oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens pleaded guilty to fraud charges yesterday for sending out millions of bogus faxes containing fake stock tips - and then cashing in on the inflated prices.

Michael Pickens likely faces between 57 and 71 months behind bars for the "fax blasting" scheme that was intended to trigger a buying frenzy on stock in three companies in December 2004.

"The faxes were made to appear as a misdirected tip from a stock broker to a customer. In fact, there was no stock broker, no customer and no tip," Pickens, 52, told Manhattan Federal Judge Loretta Preska yesterday.

Companies affiliated with Pickens netted nearly $400,000 selling off stock once the prices had been driven up by the fictitious tips, prosecutors said.

In one case, the tip was made to look like a personalized note from a financial adviser to a client, "Dr. Mitchel," urging him to buy stock that was expected to triple in value.

Sentencing is set for Jan. 30, 2007.

Five months ago, Preska ordered the younger Pickens into rehab for allegedly trying to burglarize a Connecticut fly-fishing shop while in a drugged-up haze.

Pickens was found passed out in the fetal position under a desk in the ransacked Housatonic Meadows Fly Shop in Cornwall, Conn., where a bag containing about $300,000 in fishing gear had been left near the door.

Yes, they are very serious. There are connections here that we can but dimly comprehend.

The sweater swoosh is the key. There has to be some link between T Boone and his strange love for the College of Corporate Raiders, and that other dark figure who's been funneling cash to Sweat Shop University.

You think I'm imagining things? Just remember all those duck calls . . .
