As an armchair coach, I prefer keeping the foot on the gas pedal (on offense and defense). I mean . . . when someone is down, don't take your foot off their throats . . . step harder and punch em' in the gut while your'e at it. But that's just me.

yes, i much prefer 77-0 type games. those put years back on my life (that games like yesterday take off).

To me, a "good game" is one in which we win by >28. These close ones are just too exciting.

I don't think I know a Sooner that wants a "good game". I know if we keep playing in games that are decided in the final minutes, I'm gonna die of a heartattack before I hit 30.

I'm gonna go ahead and vote on blowing out the opponents...but how can we do that when we go supercalifragiultraconservative offense when we get up by 7 or 10 points in the 2nd half???

hmmm

Anytime tells me the Fiesta Bowl was a great game, I say I don't think so. OU didn't wake up til the middle of the third quarter. I didn't enjoy it much at all.

Oh dude that game was a NIGHTMARE! I just sat there motionless through the whole game until Walker got the int. to go up. Then I about lost it and brought my whole house down jumping up and down, yes I'm a fatass. Once I saw the gayplay they pulled I said screw it, jumped in my truck and just drove with it on the radio. Then Peterson runs it in in OT, by that time I'm pretty much prepared for anything.

This is why I'm glad football season isn't year round, I couldn't deal with that.

I'm not gonna lie though, when we're contending for a national title the stress goes up higher than imaginable, it's worth the stress when we're winning though.

I get fairly cranky if I can't leave in the 3rd Qtr and start drinking. It's been a while since I went to Oconnells at half time and decided to stay there.

Gah...I'm with you. I'm tired of these close games.

The Fiesta Bowl almost killed me.

Add me to the fluttering heart brigade, I'm gettin' too old for this. I may be conservative about some things, but OU Football Offense ain't one of 'em!

I have to agree also, but being I reside in Louisiana. ABC :( CBS and Fox all think when a blow out is being shown here they thinkk the Big East is the games to change too. I would have to say stay ahead by 14 points and I still can watch the whole game.
