When are they going to realize that their football program is just about like Kansas / Baylor / Iowa St. and that is all it is ever going to be???

Sure they'll go to an Alamo Bowl or Holiday Bowl every once in a while, but most often it's going to be the Texas Bowl / Houston Bowl or Ft. Worth Bowl or no bowl at all.
