I think Bobby Reid (their Heisman candidate was ****ed)

oh well, sucks to be them.

I think he got the snot smacked out of him and they decided to go with who was hot.

same logic that Houston Nutt used to keep putting Dick in (hehe) when they were tearing LSU up with McFadden at QB.

Some media guy is ripping Gundy for it in his postgame press conference.

All Gundy could say was "well, it was in the game plan".

HA!

I'll add to this: Same logic that Houston Nutt used when burning all three time outs and throwing 3 (well, 4 consecutive) plays in a row on their last drive knowing full well that their only chance of scoring was to hand it off to McFadden or Felix.

Seriously, the sheephumper QB rotation seemed like it had zero flow or logic what-so-ever.

Same logic used to build a stadium going east to west.

So, Bobby Ried isn't going to New York?

Darn. The Daily Oklahoman, WWLS, and every Aggy in existence has been telling me that BR is the new Vince Young. Or better. Except Vince Young didn't get taken out on passing plays.

I liked when the Fox announcer referred to the North end zone!

Ours is not to question why, only to kick the **** out of them when they do dumb stuff.

Don't you remember Chance Mock? ;)

But I agree, retarded to take Reid out of the game for a redshirt freshman to finish the game. Simply because it worked on our 90-something ranked defense!

It wasn't just at the end... through the whole damn game Gundy kept switching quarterbacks back and forth. Granted, the backup kid's got a hell of an arm, but you knew every time he was in the game it was a pass play. And they'd swap him in while Reid was on a hot streak. Made no freakin' sense.

D00d was clearly not happy, was he?

seemed like he thought it was Busllit

also if Gundy would've kicked a FG instead going for it the first time they could've tried a very makeable FG to tie the game at the end.

Apparently OSU is admitting that Reid is NOT the ALL-WORLD dual-threat QB that they built him up to be.

I was happy every time they took Reid out. The other kid wasn't bad, just not as dangerous as Reid IMO. Reid could tuck the ball and burn us on a QB run which has burned us in the past.

Has rotating quarterbacks ever worked? Hummm? Mack Brown?

I think comparing True Freshman Vince Young to Junior Reid to be a bit of a stretch of logic. Bobby Reid is a decent qb...nothing overly special, nothing underwhelming.

They switched QB to create confusion. YOu well know that we have problem in the game with the opponent bring in a new QB right?

Our Defense scheme is so strict and systematic that it will work so well with the known QB who OU defense prepared for BUT, it works against the OU Defense if a new QB come in with different style.

Oh, it created confusion all right. Plenty of it.

Mostly with people who understand football.

Aggie logic..... why, there is no such thing. I was perplexed at a lot of the things they did. But then I remembered who it was. When a team feels inferior to its opponent and limited in its abilities, it may try to change its modi operandorum. Unfortunately for them, what they thought was changing things up was to everyone else typical agginess - boneheaded moves that will cost teams victory.

Aggy Logic is the thought process that makes you think you are getting better when:

1. You finished last or tied for last in the Big 12 South AGAIN;
2. You are going to a bowl because, and only because, you get to use your "once every three years" win over a D-IAA school to count towards bowl eligibility, and oh yeah, Kansas lost;
3. You can't sell out the only game on your schedule that your fans care about;
4. You can't sell out a single game in a stadium in which the seating capacity has been reduced by nearly 10,000;
5. You really think next year will be better when the schedule includes the following certainties:

At Georgia: LOSS
At Nebraska: LOSS
At Real Aggy: LOSS
At Oklahoma: LOSS
Texas: LOSS
Texas Tech: LOSS

ETA: I guess the NCAA has bailed out your Aggy a$$ by letting you count all your wins against high school opponents. But, beware of Kansas State and Baylor!!

That's Aggy Logic

You can count a 1-AA win every year now. They changed that rule when the NCAA adopted the permanent 12 game schedule(13 if you go to Hawaii)

not only dumb/aggie move to take Reid out but then to run with the other guy (I don't even know his name)...Reid should be ****ed and aggies should be ****ed...

2005: "Woods is our guy" -> Woods pulled in favor of Reid

2006: "Reid is our guy" -> Reid benched in place of Robinson

2007: "Robinson is our guy" -> Robinson replaced with Cate

you know it's going to happen :cool:

The words Aggie and Logic belong together about as much as the worlds Al-Qaeda and Peace belong together.
