I could swear I've seen more shots of despondent fans late in games recently than ever before. Is it a learned bias based on the hilarity of the original Stunned Aggie that causes me to notice more? Or did SF.com touch off a new fad for television directors?

It is pretty mean-spirited, yeah. After a brief chuckle, the XLK shot actually struck me as a pretty crappy thing to show, since, you know, the internets. Alas. :)

The thing that annoys me is that FOX pans the crowd to show every face painted freak in the stadium. Other networks will show a couple a game. FOX shows nothing but them.

When I watch a game on TV, I want them to make me feel like I'm there. Showing one freak after another doesn't give me a sense of what it's like to be at the game.

Then again, that's just one of many reasons FOX Sports' coverage of the games is way below the other networks.

Did anyone else notice how they kept flashing the graphic and picture of Patrick through out the game and it identified him as a "Defensive Back"? Also, it was like a high school production with numerous close ups of everything, but the game.

Someone here has to have seen what I saw...

Believe it was beginning of second half, and they panned the north stands from West to East...

And I swear, just at the beginning of the pan, near the west goal line...

there he was....

giant foam cowboy hat and all...

like some "nah that can't really be" soonerfans.com hallucination from too many late nights or too much Red Bull...

There will be a noticeable difference between what you see on Fox Sports Net and what you'll see on Fox Sports for the BCS.
