That was a grave mistake on the US - we had a chance to take him out 18 months ago with sufficient support to defeat his militia, and we didn't.
Until he is dead, there will never be peace in Iraq.

Not to make light of the situation...I agree with you on this one. Rumsfeld was involved in the Vietnam Fiasco and he was involved in this one. I hate that fact that Politics gets in the way of War. Politics is when the otherside is willing to talk to you about ending their a$$-kicking IMO.
