For some reason (Gumbel?) it seemed like a serious news story than a football game. I wanted Paul Maguire to pop up and say something inane. Chris Collinsworth can be pretty funny, but it seemd like both he and Gumble made the whole deal sound too somber.

I like Collinsworth. He was pretty good in the booth with Aikman a couple of years ago. Gumbel's play by play dragged him down last night.

I found myself debating which announcers are worse: Gumbel, or Kornholio and Tirico on MNF. I decided that they all suck.

Collinsworth keep trying to anticipate the next play call and was wrong everytime. At least he showed a little emotion.
