These dudes are pretty stinking good. I heard "Woman" a while back but didn't know who the band was. I got the entire album and it's my kind of music. It's what Jack White might sound like if he got a good drummer and a bass player. Very impressed...

The opening riff to "Joker and the Thief" is freakin' greatness.

I listened to that album for about a month straight after I bought it. I need tobust it back out.

Oh, and they have licensed their music all over the place.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the time I heard it was on a commercial since I don't listen to rock radio and don't watch MTV, due to the fact that there is zero music on music television. Heck you can't even get video's on MTV2 now. Ridiculous!

Anyways... I used to have a problem with bands "selling out" by going corporate with their music, but things are different now. The downloading and internet frenzy have really made an impact on the bands pocketbooks, so I really don't have a problem with it at all. It's a really good way for a band to get exposure and make some money at the same time.

Don't know how I missed this thread. Wolfmother is outstanding. And if you like Wolfmother, try Danko Jones. More well known, Theory of a Deadman and Yellowcard are also worth noting. As is Local H.
