Although I couldn't find a single motel to stay at in Atoka for 30 days I did find one in McAlester.

I also will be able to see the famdamily for a little bit tomorrow.

Mapquest says that the commute from McAlester to Cottonwood is 1h3m. Do any of you hillbillies know if that is accurate?

I never trust mapquest. it's steered me WAY wrong too many times.

Google Maps says it's about that, i usually end up somewhere a lot quicker than they say though

seems pretty long for ~40 miles, Hwy 69 is pretty decent, isn't it?

This one time, I misspelled a street thereby making up one.

Mapquest made up a way to find it.

I found myself at a railroad yard nowhere near my intended destination.

Well...Mapquest got me and my family from Houston, Texas to Atlanta, GA. From Atlanta, GA to Graceland...From Graceland to OKC. (we decided to drive on our last vacation)

I find that Yahoo is the worst.

Don't get me wrong. I like Mapquest.

I just get a second opinion to make sure.

thanks a million SB68. Looks like I'll be at the Brandenburg Extended Stay in Atoka. It was 250/wk and the Colonial was 218/wk so I figured I'd rather stay there.

All these galdarned oilfield trash people keep taking all the rooms I try to check into.
