I finished everything about 40 minutes ago, I have 2 more hours until I get off work. I have nothing to do but sit here on the internet for the rest of the day...Why won't they just let me leave?

I'm waiting for my only remaining patient to show up at 3. (Well, not that the rest are dead, she's the only remaining one scheduled.)
Hurry up!

Tell her to rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.

I screamed "WALK IT OFF!", but apparently that doesn't work for everyone.

So I guess now we all know what the hell we are waiting for when we sit in the examination room for 30 minutes waiting on the doctor....WAITING FOR THEM TO GET OFF THE MESSAGE BOARDS!

Just start randomly dialing extensions and leaving hostile messages.

Things I am thankful for: Having a job that does not have rigid hours.

There is a downside to this though....there is no such thing as having "finished everything" There is always more work to be done.

I couldn't do that, our phones list the extension of the person that called before giving the message...

Believe me, I've been so bored I've looked for something to do. There is NOTHING for me to do today. N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

Welp...my attorney has taken the day off...so I just cleared my desk of the different piles. Without bossman here to put more piles on my desk...it will stay that way until Monday. :D

heh...I get to come back Friday - and I will have everything done by 12 because of the early market closings. I will have absolutely NOTHING to do Friday afternoon either - but I bet I'll be stuck here until 4:30...

We got to leave two hours early today . . . the only problem with that is that I come in at 7 and leave at 3:30 and they didn't tell us about it until 2:30. :(

I guess it's assumed that most folks work 8 to 4:30.

ARGUS....The only place I know where you have to work from 7 to 6:30 because they thought you'd talk about 1 hour a day on non work items. Not to mention that at 5pm they all broke out a "doom spaceship" type of game and played that until 6:30. BUT you couldn't leave before 6:30. I left that job very quickly.

I work at a bank, in mutual funds...The fund companies closed early, therefore my trades had to be done early, therefore I had nothing to do after about 1:45...

After baking all night and five failed attempts, I finally produced two, I think, edible pecan pies. I desperately need PG's Pie Emergency Hotline. Anyway, I'm off to work with my Thanksgiving pies.

I let my secretary off at noon today.
After she told me that if I didnt, I could do the grocery shopping myself, stop by walmart and get her perscription, clean the bathrooms when I got home, do my own laundry for the next month, cook dinner tomorrow, and sex was gonna be out of the question until the new year.

I thought about it for a few minutes, wondering just what had she thrown in there that was unusual. But, being the kind boss that I am, I let my wife go early today.
