But, I am sorry to inform everyone, I wont be gone forever. :D

I'm leaving Brenham tonight to go back to Katy. Our flight leaves tomorrow at 8:30 AM, and we're going here for 5 days: The Greenbrier (http://www.greenbrier.com/site/)

It seems like it will be a pretty cool place, and it has a TON of history (http://www.greenbrier.com/site/about-history.aspx) behind it.

Should be interesting. They have a dress code, and I cant wear jeans. I have to wear all dresses and skirts, and heels, and what-not. Well, I get to wear jeans for my English riding lessons. :D

Can't wait! I'll take pictures. I already promised SicEm that I would take plenty of pictures of the bunker when I went.

I hope everyone has a great holiday, and spends plenty of time with parents, children and other family! :D

The place reportedly has a series of underground bunkers and conference rooms that was well kept and well stocked for members of the three branches of government in case of a nuclear attack. I believe it was in use until the Soviet Union was dismantled in the early 90's.

I think I am also supposed to wear the proper riding boots. But I'm going to take my happy little Texan a5s down there in jeans and dirty, cow crap covered, yet very comfortable boots.

I'm not leaving the house till 4. I got all my packing done early, so I had time to get on my computer. But now I'm leaving for reals.

Just because you're too short to reach stirrups doesn't mean everyone should ride sidesaddle. ;)
