USC loses to an unranked team at home and the media (LA media)says USC is better team than Michigan.

The LA media also says USC should jump to number #2 in the BCS when
USC beats ND this weekend.

That maybe true if they beat ND by a larger margin than Michigan's 47-21 margin.

I hope ND puts USC out of there misery, but it would be even funnier if UCLA could do it. UCLA gets about 10% of the press coverage that USC does.

I would like that too. Speaking of funny how funny woud it be if FSU put UF out of its misery this week a la VaTech last year in the ACC title game...

When did SUC lose to an unranked team at home?

USC lost to Oregon State, which was an unranked team playing at home. :texan:

Isn't that the same argument FSU and Miami had in 2000?

Nov 11 to Oregon State 33-31. The paper has the game listed at both sites, but I think you are correct that the game was at Oregon.

After further review, the Pac10 has determined that the game was played at Mustang Stadium in Allen, OK.

There were, however, a few camera angles still missing when the ruling was made.

The BCS uses math (arthmatic) to calculate (figure out) the standings (places) for the final game of the season (the National Championship) where the number 1 (math) team plays the number 2 (math) team.

Since margin of victory is no longer a component of the computer ratings, there isn't much math left in your post.

This might be some help to some to understand what math has to do with USC's placement in the BCS, while USC uses FUNNY MATH to make a statement that they should be #2. It doesn't add up, just look at the numbers.

actually they were. But the fact that well, nearly everyone in front of them lost since then they've moved back up.

Oh and Dan, it wasn't so long ago that UCLA won 8 straight against USC. Carson Palmer certainly remembers those days.

What the hell ever happened to the timing of the loss??

Dream scenario:
SUC creams the domers
UCLA drills SUC
halFaSsU wins one for bobby
LSU beats the hogs
the hogs beat UF
aggies hang on against the whorns
OU drills OSU
OU drills Nebraska
