THE REAL GAME (the Fake GAME was Saturday in Columbus) will have national title hops on the line again. I fully expect OU and UT to be 5-0 and in the Top 5 nationally for the RRS next year.

OU and UT return too much firepower not to be pre-season Top 5 teams for 2007. Our schedules are quite favorable and it is IMPERITIVE that we win in Dallas. The toughest match OU and UT will face will be end of season away games @ Tech for us and @ A&M for them.

OU

North Texas (3-8)
Miami (5-6)
Utah State (1-10)
@ Tulsa (7-4)
@ Colorado (2-9)
TEXAS (9-2)
Missouri (7-4)
@ Iowa State (4-8)
Oklahoma State (6-5)
Texas A&M (8-3)
Baylor (4-8)
@ Texas Tech (6-5)

The only thing that worries me is we have no decent team but Tulsa before the RRS. It may help our confidence, but may hurt if we get comfortable playing those soft teams. Texas doesnt either but they do get TCU and K-State before they play us.

TEXAS

T.B.A.
TCU (8-2)
@UCF (3-8)
Rice (6-5)
Kansas State (7-5)
OU
@ Iowa State (4-8)
@ Baylor (4-8)
Nebraska (8-3)
Oklahoma St. (6-5)
Texas Tech (6-5)
@ Texas A&M (8-3)

Texas plays 8 Bowl eligible teams next year.

You guys are catching Miami at a great time. Will be a very big game, but won't bring the attention that Tosu and Mich. did this past week.

Just curious, who is leading the way to be next years starter at QB?

I think Miami will will be a difficult game. There will probably be a new coaching staff there and they still have good (if not great) athletes. Should be a good test before the RRS.

Probably Halzle...but if we steal John Chiles from Texas....WATCH OUT!!!!
I'd rather play Miami good then bad...they are sub 500 right now.

I would LOVE to have Florida come to Norman that week.

Top 5 only IF we solve the QB riddle.

Miami should be good competition, regardless of their record this year. I would also expect to see Colorado improve. The schedule may not be as bad as it looks right now.

I honestly believe that Halzle will back up Bradford next season. We would have seen Halzle more this year if he was going to be the next starter.
