Never? Even in 2003 when the computer ratings component of the BCS allowed OU to play in the title game even after losing 35-7 to KSU and being dropped to 3rd in the polls?

Wasn't there still a quality win component at that time that helped OU slide in? If that were the case now we wouldn't have any top 15 wins to boost us, but neither would a large number of the rest of the teams in the current BCS rankings.

No, not even then. Yeah, it was nice because I was a Sooner fan, but it would have sucked if I were a fan of any other team.

Cant Tramel or some dumbass reporter call each of the computer nerds and just ask them if they could change the score of the OU-uo game to see where OU would fall in their ranking? Just for fun...

If I'm not mistaken, I thought Jerry Palm had all of the formulas anyway and he lives in Oklahoma. It just seems like someone could actually punch in the numbers and see how bad that loss is hurting us in the computers.

I suspect we would be between 6 and 8 in the human polls if that was a win.
