I'm skipping this one.

This is as close to lucid as rus gets. I'm surprised he didn't say #4 or something like that.

Don't you know? I spend hours every day praying for acceptance from him so I can be cool and secure!

No, I think think the Oregon "win" will resurface and we will get a real bump in the rankings....

from whom? The Coaches? Most of them don't even fill out their own ballots.

They still point it out a lot on the pre-game broadcasts and occasionally during games, so hopefully it will enter into the equation somewhat. The problem is that it won't ever effect the computers and the coaches pretty much know already and I assume it's already factored in.

That said, todays games should have a major effect.

Why? Media guys talk about how they should be voting Oklahoma higher or that they accidentally voted them too low and get removed from the polls. Yet, we have the exact same ranking in the coaches poll, and all anyone talks about is the AP poll. Clearly there was a coach who voted us 24th last week just like that guy from the AP who got canned from the list for admitting he made a mistake.

13th is the reasonably best we will likely move up in the rankings at most. 14th is a lot more likely.

I am not going to debate 12,13 or 14 but we are moving up I guarantee

Saying we are moving up in the rankings is only stating the obvious. If we didn't move up a single spot I'd join Texas Golfer in his Crimson Tinfoil Hat World of Conspiracies.

It was an AP pollster and they (the AP) did remove his voting ability.

This assumes that the person who votes actually watches the game.

I say we'll be ranked no higher than #15.

We beat ranked opponents and moved up only one spot each time even with higher ranked teams losing. I don't think our performance today will justify moving us up any higher in the pollsters' opinions.

apparently you missed the part of what I said that he was referencing in that we had the same ranking in the coaches poll (USA Today) as we did in the AP. Meaning that there was at least one coach who ranked us in the last 25 the same as how the writer mistakenly ranked us 24th. His reply was in reference to that statement.
