No, but I wouldn't have starting running backs in the game with 25 seconds left while down 27. If you're gonna do that, why not let some backups get in some reps while keeping your starters safe from freak injuries on a wet field.

Maybe the player needs to prove something.

Sometimes in a loss a coach will still look for character and effort out of players.

Although great for Mike, this does indeed suck for us. We've got a schedule littered with bowl teams, but too many of them will be in very low tier bowls.
