I can't even stand the smell of them.

We had one at my Mom's one year and it was so bad that we threw it out and polished off all of the ham.

We usually would do a turkey and a ham so there would be leftovers for the next day...

The year we had turd Ducken...we went out to eat the next day since there were no left overs.

I don't even think that crud drew flies in the trash can.

Oh, you had to ask the question, didn't you? There's only one way to answer that...

A Thanksgiving PSA (http://media.putfile.com/RvB-Thanksgiving) from our friends at RoosterTeeth.

have you ever eaten a duck? nas-ty. it will ruin anything it touches except bacon and jalapenos.

No problem...

All I'm saying is...have a back-up in case you don't like it.

I know some folks love the stuff.

We had around 20 folks the day we had ours....

Not one person ate the turducken...they tried it...but turned to the ham quickly.

That was expensive too....awful to have to throw it out.

I hope you have a better experience than we did.

hell, I'm a pretty picky eater, but my Grandma ordered duck at some restaurant (that we went to just because they serve duck) and I tried some--thought it was tasty

What kind of meat you like? First class or coach?

Duck is freakin' awesome. It's pretty fatty, so it's quite flavorful.

Gotta watch out for birdshot, though.

Since the Deer Thread...I must ask this....

Is birdshot like buckshot / moneyshot?

I'm not sure how they bring down game in Green county, but up here it's certainly not with a money shot!
