My prediction of Brent Venebles getting a Head Coaching position at the end of the year is looking a whole lot more promising.

On a side note I'm sorry for sounding like Jim Traber, that guy gives it up to himself so often I think he would be wearing out the confessional carpet if wasn't a soul-less nipple head.

I don't think BV is ready for that quite yet. With the exception of the last few four or five games, his D units haven't exactly been world beaters. And we all know that Mizzou, Colorado and aTm are all in the same boat with eachother, SS teh succc.

BV is a good defensive mind, a good recruiter. So is Boo Blake. Leaving now could be as disastrous as Boo's run at OU. I know that is going through BV's mind... taking on something he is not ready for. Not that BV could quadraf*** something up as bad as Boo, and not putting those two up for competition, because BV doesn't come across as an idiot like Boo did/does.

If he takes a job, I think it will be similar to Lester starting out as Aggy, or Prince taking on K-State. A D-1 job, but not anyone with an expectation of immediate results like OU or UT. ISU seems like a good fit if you really wanna bail, BV. I think his answer and Stoops answer at the end of this season will be the same as last season, happy here, not ready to take anything else on for a while.
