2006-07 ACHA Division 1 Ranking #4

West Bloomfield, MI - The University of Illinois strengthened its grip on the top spot in Ranking #4 of the 2006-07 season, getting 33 of a possible 36 first-place votes. The Fighting Illini are still perfect on the season at 14-0-0. The other undefeated team, Oklahoma [15-0-0], inched up to the #3 spot and received 2 first-place votes. Rhode Island received the other first-place vote. Robert Morris (IL) won its 9th game in a row and jumped back into the polls in the #17 spot, while Washington & Jefferson made its season debut in the Top 20 coming in at #19.

The fourth ranking of the regular season will be released on Friday, December 1.

This years ACHA Division 1 National Championships will be hosted by Kent State University and take place March 1-4, 2007 at the Ice Zone in Youngstown, OH. Sixteen teams will qualify for the tournament.
